Distribution Center Manager – Denver, CO

Full-Time | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday | $85,000+ per year

As the Distribution Center Manager, you will oversee daily operations at our Denver Distribution Center while leading and mentoring both warehouse and sales teams. This role blends operational leadership, hands-on warehouse management, and active sales support, along with customer engagement, to ensure efficient operations, strengthen long-standing relationships, and drive business growth in an established market.
Key Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do
- Build Relationships: Develop and strengthen partnerships with flooring dealers, installers, and contractor professionals in the Denver market. Engage regularly with customers to address inquiries, provide solutions, and support business growth.
- Operational Leadership: Oversee and manage daily distribution center operations, including receiving, stocking, inventory control, cycle counts, and order accuracy. Provide hands-on support with picking and loading as needed, and manage inventory in line with distribution requirements and company safety and operational policies.
- Be the Expert: Learn our product lines and use your expertise to guide customers to the right solutions, answer questions, and provide pricing and sales support.
- Deliver Service that Stands Out: Go the extra mile to solve problems, follow through, and create real value for customers. Ensure satisfaction and consistency by following up after orders and deliveries.
- Collaborate & Contribute: Work closely with sales and warehouse teams to deliver a seamless customer experience. Train, support, and develop team members to meet operational and sales goals, fostering a culture of sales excellence, teamwork, and accountability.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: Previous management, supervisory, or leadership experience with a strong emphasis on sales. B2B experience is preferred. Experience in a lumber yard, hardwood flooring, or woodworking environment is a plus. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive customer growth, and manage operations effectively.
- Computer Skills: Strong working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
- Driver’s License: Valid license with a clean driving record.
- Compliance: Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Relationship Skills: A natural ability to connect, communicate and build trust with customers and coworkers through strong people skills.
- Mindset: Strong problem solving abilities, proactive, self motivated and driven to succeed. Comfortable working independently while supporting a team.
