Distribution Center Manager

Overview:

National Floors Direct is a direct-to-consumer Carpet and Flooring Specialty Service. We deliver the customer experience and expertise of a High End Floor Covering Specialty Store directly to our customers’ home. This revolutionary approach to satisfying the floor covering needs of homeowners is part of our commitment to the customer experience.

We are currently seeking a Distribution Center Manager to join our rapidly growing team!

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Oversee the distribution of all scheduled materials to installation teams daily
• Assist in the hiring supervision of outside floor-covering installation teams.
• Communicate with customers and colleagues with the goal of exceeding customer expectations and delivering a great customer experience.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience supervising in-house employees and maintaining long term relationships with outside installation/delivery teams.
• Highly self-motivated, organized and dependable
• Logistical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Significant experience in a Customer Service based role; floor-covering or home-improvement experience is a plus!
• Computer literate, with experience in email, word, excel, and CRM software programs
• Experience supervising in-house employees and maintaining long term relationships with outside installation/delivery teams
• Highly self-motivated, organized and dependable
• 2+ years of Installation Management experience.
• 2+ years of Logistics experience.
• Direct supervision experience managing a team of at least 10+ internal employees and 10+ delivery personnel required
• Experience working with Floor-covering products and installations is a huge plus but not a requirement!!

Pay: $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
