What We Need:
  • We need a Shipping & Receiving Clerk who is responsible for scheduling all outbound and inbound deliveries and performing similar tasks relating to warehouse and shipping duties
What You Will Do:
  • You will create bills of ladings and use pick tickets to ascertain accurate skid counts for carriers
  • You will assist the department in answering and creating online quotes for customer inquiries regarding freight pricing
  • You will alert all necessary internal staff regarding backorders and shipping statuses
  • You will report discrepancies
  • You will assist customer service by identifying and researching customer issues that are related to the shipping (and receiving) of orders
  • You will follow up on warehouse inquiries made by internal departments
  • You will assist the lead coordinator, as well as the department manager when requested
  • You will contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related goals for results as needed
What You Need:
  • Must have high school diploma or GED
  • Basic reading and math skills
  • Proficient in Excel word and outlook and the ability to use or quickly understand WMS
  • Good work ethic, written and verbal communication skills and capacity to work as a team
  • Customer service background or relevant work experience
  • Exemplary Customer-Facing and Customer Service Skills
  • Experience in a Warehouse Environment and utilizing Warehouse Management Software
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Detail-Oriented

  • Previous Shipping and Freight Experience
