JOB SUMMARY:

The Distribution Manager leads all operations at the Beresford Distribution Center (BDC), serving as
the primary hub for centralized material distribution to Brandon and Elk Point. This role is responsible
for day-to-day execution of inbound receiving, pick/pack operations, and outbound distribution to all
Thermo Bond locations. The Distribution Manager ensures material flow is accurate, on time, and
aligned with production schedules, while building the team and systems needed to scale BDC
operations over time.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directly supervises distribution center staff including receivers, pickers/packers, and material

handlers.

  • Responsible for hiring, onboarding, performance management, and day-to-day direction of DC

hourly team members.

  • Partners with Supply Chain leadership define team structure, headcount, and shift

configuration as operations scale.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all inbound receiving at the BDC, ensuring accuracy of receipt transactions in the
ERP system.
  • Establish and maintain dock scheduling, unloading standards, and put-away processes to
support continuous material flow.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and Inventory teams to resolve inbound discrepancies, shortages,
and quality issues.
  • Direct pick/pack workflow to support outbound replenishment to Brandon and Elk Point,
ensuring orders are picked accurately and staged on time.
  • Implement and enforce slotting strategies, pick path efficiency, and line-side cart-based
delivery standards.
  • Monitor pick accuracy and labor productivity, identifying and correcting gaps in process or
execution.
  • Manage outbound trailer loading, staging, and dispatch to Brandon and Elk Point on a
scheduled replenishment cadence.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure on-time departures and proper load integrity.
  • Ensure trailers are loaded to density targets and that load manifests are accurate and
complete.

  • Support trailer strategy decisions including type, quantity, and utilization (vans, flatbeds,
curtain trailers).
  • Ensure all inventory transactions (receipts, transfers, picks, adjustments) are accurately
processed in the ERP system in real time.
  • Lead the cycle counting program at the BDC in partnership with the Inventory team.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, transfer variances, and system mismatches.
  • Support target on-hand inventory targets and escalate risks to Supply Chain leadership
proactively.
  • Build and maintain a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the
BDC team.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures for all BDC functions including
receiving, pick/pack, shipping, and inventory management.
  • Conduct regular team huddles, performance reviews, and training to develop warehouse staff
capability.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Inventory, Scheduling, and Logistics teams to ensure BDC
operations support production and delivery requirements at Brandon and Elk Point.
  • Provide operational updates, capacity risks, and improvement recommendations.
  • Support future BDC phases including SKU expansion, prefab integration, and KPI dashboard
implementation.


REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, distribution center operations, or a closely

related leadership role.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations including receiving, pick/pack, inventory

control, and outbound shipping.

  • Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems; Acumatica experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze and act on operational data.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

simultaneously.

TRAVEL, HOURS OF WORK, & SUPERVISION:
This position normally requires the individual to be physically present at one or more TBB
manufacturing location Monday through Friday; hours may occasionally be extended as deemed
necessary. This position will report to their Senior Inventory Manager.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:

  • None required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial distribution environment.
  • Familiarity with push/forecast-driven replenishment models.
  • Experience implementing standard work, 5S, or lean warehouse principles.
  • Background in multi-site logistics or inter-facility material transfer operations.
  • Experience with KPI development and operational dashboard reporting.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (including but not limited to):

  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
