Distribution Manager / Warehouse Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, highly organized Distribution Manager / Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our distribution center in Marion, MA. This role is responsible for the day-to-day execution of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and fulfillment to multiple retail locations.

We are looking for a leader who is present, engaged, and accountable for execution on the floor.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Distribution Operations

• Lead all day-to-day warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory control
• Ensure timely and accurate distribution of product to retail stores and direct-to-consumer channels
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, accuracy, and reporting
• Coordinate product flow between vendors, warehouse, and retail locations
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors

Inventory & Logistics

• Own inventory systems, controls, and cycle counts
• Oversee product transfers and allocation across locations
• Work closely with merchandising and retail teams to ensure proper product flow

Team Leadership

• Hire, train, and manage warehouse team members
• Set clear expectations and hold team accountable to performance standards
• Build a strong, reliable team with a focus on execution and accountability
• Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and labor efficiency

Operations & Facility Management

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
• Oversee opening/closing procedures and facility security

Reporting & Communication

• Deliver regular reporting on inventory, operations, and performance
• Communicate effectively with leadership, retail, and merchandising teams
• Proactively identify issues and drive solutions

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of warehouse or distribution leadership experience
• Strong understanding of inventory systems and logistics operations
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive accountability
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Pay: $26.29 - $35.00 per hour
