SUMMARY: The District Digital Performance Specialist has territorial responsibility for optimizing the digital execution (process, tools and strategies) between an OEM and its Dealers. They act as a consultant for a group of assigned Dealers and work collaboratively with them on the development and implementation of their digital plans. They are the primary point of contact for the Dealer across sponsored digital initiatives and facilitate the integration of go to market strategy within each of these programs monthly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all assigned dealers across digital initiatives for sales and service.
  • Partner with the District Sales Manager and District Manager of Aftersales to identify digital sales and service opportunities for the dealer and to optimize the dealer’s digital engagement/performance.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% including overnight stays and must meet the GP driving record requirement.
  • Expand dealer adoption and utilization of brand/aftersales digital programs, holding accountability for key participation and performance KPIs.
  • Increase dealer satisfaction with brand/aftersales digital initiatives and service providers.

  • Facilitate, coach and consult with dealers to ensure monthly/yearly digital sales and service objectives are met as well as accomplishing other dealership goals.
  • Coach dealer on customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Work with dealer and zone team members to establish and optimize each dealer’s digital marketing strategy and plan:

- Conduct digital assessment of dealer’s digital programs

- Review key digital performance indicators with dealer and develop action plan

- Quarterback ongoing technical support requests

- Coordinate dealer website customizations

- Escalate key vendor issues for the dealer

  • Work with Brand/Aftersales Teams to drive execution of divisional/go-to-market strategies across key digital focus areas:

- Website and digital advertising

- Consumer marketing

- Leads

- Service

- Digital signage

- Social/reputation management

- Other key digital services

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience.
  • Working knowledge of digital advertising and marketing (Websites, SEO, SEM, Social, Lead Management/CRM, consumer marketing, etc.).
  • Knowledge of automotive digital vendor ecosystem.
  • The ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining effectiveness in a dynamic, often chaotic environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills that involve understanding the audience, getting the message across, presenting information effectively, and communicating openly.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced sales focused environment.
  • Excellent time management skills – the ability to effectively and efficiently use your time to focus on the most impactful activities and challenge those that distract from the identified goal.
  • Ability to build strong relationships, become a trusted advisor, and interact with all levels of dealership personnel.
  • Ability to influence business partners.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional groups.
  • Ability to adapt to various levels of dealership digital expertise.
  • Computer skills to develop, maintain, and analyze data.
  • Business consulting skills, ability to create action plans and track progress.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Dealership/automotive experience.
  • Digital retail experience.
  • Salesforce experience.
  • Competency in basic performance consulting processes such as Root Cause Analysis and Action Plans.
