The District Office Manager is responsible for maintaining all bookkeeping data up to five local offices ( or any other local offices assigned or reassigned by Executive Secretary Treasure & CEO or the Chief Operations Officer - Council Operations). You will also serve as a resource to assist local offices experiencing membership coordinator turnover or temporary staffing gaps. This role involves providing financial reports to both local offices and the Regional Council, managing tax reporting and payment data, and preparing annual audits. The position requires travel to various local offices within the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping and Financial Management:

o Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records for each local office within the region.

o Prepare and provide financial reports as requested by local offices and the regional council.

o Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

  • Tax Reporting and Payments:

o Manage all tax reporting and payment data for each local office.

o Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and payment of taxes.

  • Audit Preparation:

o Prepare annual audits by organizing and maintaining all necessary financial records.

o Provide auditors with any required data and documentation.

  • Travel:

o Periodic travel to various local offices within the region to perform on-site bookkeeping and financial management tasks.

o Attend regional meetings and training sessions as required.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position with standard office hours.
  • Frequent travel to local offices within the region.
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for audits or meetings.

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
