District- School Psychologist

Horizon Science Academy Cincinnati/Dayton is looking for a School Psychologist to join our team for the 26-27 School Year.

Responsibilities:

• Assessment & Evaluation: Conducting multi-factored evaluations (ETR) to identify students with disabilities, academic needs, or behavioral, social-emotional issues.
• Intervention & Counseling: Providing individual and group counseling, implementing school-wide positive behavioral supports, and crisis intervention.
• Consultation & Collaboration: Partnering with teachers, parents, and administrators to design classroom interventions, academic accommodations, and behavioral management plans.
• Data Collection & Analysis: Using data to monitor student progress, assess school climate, and evaluate the effectiveness of academic/behavioral programs.
• Special Education Process: Playing a key role in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Prevention & Advocacy: Promoting mental wellness, preventing bullying/violence, and providing culturally responsive services to diverse student populations.

Education & Experience:

• Master's Degree
• Valid OH School Psychologist Licensure
• Minimum of 5 years Experience
