What you will do

As our DIT Manager, you will take on a strategic and people-centric leadership position, guiding a multidisciplinary IT organisation and serving as a key interface between the team and senior leadership. You will lead a diverse group of IT specialists, foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, and ensure the effective delivery of IT services in a global environment.

Your tasks include:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of IT professionals across various technical domains (e.g., infrastructure, applications, development, support).
  • Cultivate a positive, supportive, and performance-driven team environment, empowering team members and encouraging collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and team bonding.
  • Drive effective communication, ensuring transparency within the team and acting as a liaison between the IT organization and upper management.
  • Coordinate staffing and team growth, including workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding activities.
  • Collaborate with an offshore functional lead for function-specific topics where applicable.
  • Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships, ensuring cost efficiency and service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and legal/regulatory requirements.
  • Support audit, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives within the IT landscape.
What you will need
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT team management or similar leadership roles.
  • Experience working in international organizations with global collaboration models.
  • Proven track record in scaling or ramping up larger IT teams.
  • Strong understanding of IT organizational structures, processes, and workflows.
  • Ability to lead and influence without deep day-to-day technical involvement.
  • Experience managing remote and hybrid teams.
  • Experience in cross-functional, multicultural environments is a strong plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written
