Job Summary

Division Manager manages group/operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established in the company business plan.

Core Job Duties

  • Overall management of people on a daily and weekly basis who are in Project Management, Superintendent or Foreman roles.
  • Lead by example a safe to promote an injury/accident free workplace while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, following and enforcing standards and procedures; comply with applicable regulations
  • Have the ability to recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, & encourage employees in an Employee Ownership (ESOP) environment
  • Proficiency in client relationships, being the POC while representing the ESOP Firm, along with delivery of customer expectations with the balance of internal operational schedules and manpower.
  • Be responsible for leadership and selection of Supt/foreman crews while being charged with financial operational results of those teams
  • Forecast requirements; prepare an annual sales target; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; contribute to corrective actions
  • Communicate job expectations to employees; planning, monitoring, evaluating, and reviewing job schedules and manpower.
  • Relay operations information and recommendations to VP of Ops; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends
  • Contribute to ongoing operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, and assist in enforcing, processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management and shipping
  • Plan and review yearly compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures

Qualifications

Advantageous to have a bachelor's degree. Having 10+ years of experience in the field (welding – piping – fabricating) or in a related area is equally as valuable, with leadership experience and a prodigious desire to achieve. Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures. Candidates with extensive field and real world experience along with judgment to plan and accomplish goals will fit in well. Must have the following skills and proficiencies:

  • Must have a driver license in good standing

Working Conditions

General working conditions are in an office environment but may require working in manufacturing facilities, job sites, and marine environments. Work sites are in Washington and Alaska. Outside working conditions may include snow, ice, and high winds with gusts up to 50 MPH. Employees are regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, potential fall exposure, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and extreme heat, and high noise levels.

Physical Requirements

Employees will need to be able to access tight areas at client locations to see the work. This will include the need to maneuver up and down stairs, ladders, and equipment at various elevations. Position also requires hand manipulative skills for computer work. Must be able to hear verbal conversations over the phone and in-person with background noise. Requires the ability to work standing up or sitting down. Must have visual ability and stamina to view computer screens for and occasionally work long shifts due to client needs and IRI contract(s).

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
