Figeroux & Associates is a full-service law firm with decades of combined experience in family law and divorce. We are seeking a Divorce & Family Law Paralegal to provide support in litigation and negotiation involving divorce, custody, visitation, support, and domestic violence cases.

The paralegal will draft pleadings, manage court filings, assist attorneys at trial, and maintain client communication with sensitivity and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, net worth statements, discovery demands, and settlement agreements.
- File documents through NYSCEF and manage case deadlines.
- Prepare exhibits, trial binders, and witness lists.
- Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel.
- Assist attorneys during trials, hearings, and mediations.

Qualifications

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; Paralegal Certificate preferred.
- 2–3 years of family law paralegal experience (NY preferred).
- Familiarity with New York DRL and Family Court procedures.
- Excellent drafting, research, and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive client matters.
