Structural Design Engineer – Job Description

Job Summary:
The Structural Design Engineer is responsible for designing, analyzing, and preparing drawings for structural components of buildings or infrastructure projects. The role ensures that all structures are safe, efficient, and compliant with relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create structural designs for buildings, foundations, and other structures.
• Perform load calculations and structural analysis.
• Prepare drawings, models, and technical documents.
• Review and update design plans based on project requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers.
• Ensure designs follow safety regulations and industry standards.
• Assist in resolving design-related issues during construction.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, etc.).
• Understanding of building codes and structural standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience:

• 0–3 years for junior roles, or more for senior positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
