DM-Approved Steel Structure Designer / Engineer

We are currently seeking a Dubai Municipality (DM)–Approved Steel Structure Designer / Engineer to join our growing technical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and verify steel structure design calculations and drawings.
• Submit steel structure designs to Dubai Municipality (DM) and obtain necessary approvals.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with DM, consultants, fabricators, and site execution teams.
• Ensure full compliance with Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defence (DCD), and applicable international codes and standards.
• Provide technical support during fabrication, erection, and construction stages.
• Conduct site visits as required to resolve design and execution-related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university.
• Mandatory: Valid Dubai Municipality (DM) approval as a Steel Structure Designer / Engineer.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in steel structure projects within Dubai.
• Strong working knowledge of steel design codes and standards (BS, Eurocode, AISC).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD experience with Tekla Structures and other Softwares is an added advantage.
• Proven experience in DM submissions, authority approvals, and technical coordination.
• Solid understanding of fabrication, erection methods, and site execution practices.
• Valid UAE driving license is an added advantage..
• Strong communication, coordination, and technical documentation skills.
