DM IT Projects

  • · Lead the planning, execution, and closure of dual-scope projects encompassing highway toll collection plazas and Safe City infrastructure (End-to-End Project Execution).
  • · Manage structural construction, including toll booths, lane canopy erections, pavement concrete works, and CCTV gantry foundations (Civil Work Oversight).
  • · Oversee the deployment of Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) systems, Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras, RFID readers, and WIM devices (IT & Systems Integration).
  • · Direct the installation of city-wide surveillance networks, command and control centre setups, facial recognition software, and fiber-optic backhaul networks (Safe City Deployment).
  • · Source, negotiate, and monitor contracts for specialized civil contractors, IT vendors, and systems integrators regarding Vendor Management.
  • · Maintain strict ownership of project budgets, variance analysis, milestones tracking, and resource allocation regarding Financial & Timeline Controls
  • · Act as the primary liaison between government authorities, National Highway officials, law enforcement agencies, and internal executive’s sstakeholder Coordination.
  • · Ensure all civil constructions and IT deployments comply with national highway safety standards, environmental regulations, and data privacy laws regulatory & Safety Compliance.
  • · Analyze, interpret, and master complex project contracts to enforce and deliver all locked-in technical and commercial requirements regarding Contractual Blueprint Ownership
  • · Reconcile Bill of Quantities (BOQ) against final site realities and design changes to prevent scope creep and manage variations for Scope & BOQ Validation
  • · Procurement & Requisitioning: Initiate and track timely Purchase Requisitions (PR) for all civil materials and IT equipment based on contractual milestones.
  • · Coordinate engineering teams to deliver precise Design Submissions; track and secure formal client Design Approvals for Design Cycle Management
  • · Manage equipment delivery timelines, ensuring critical hardware, toll components, and IT servers arrive on-site to match civil schedules.
  • · Geotechnical & Site Readiness, oversee initial Soil Testing and site surveys to clear civil engineering prerequisites before structural deployment.
  • · Client Handover & SAT, Lead the execution of formal Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) with client representatives to gain final sign-offs and closure.

Skills:

1. Civil Engineering Fundamentals, proficient in reading structural drawings, monitoring concrete quality, understanding traffic management plans, and reviewing bills of quantities (BOQs).

2. ITS & Surveillance Architecture, deep technical knowledge of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), IP CCTV architecture, VMS (Video Management Systems), and network switches.

3. Project Management Methodologies, Clickup, Advanced proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies, including scheduling via MS Project or Primavera P6.

4. Network Infrastructure: understanding of fiber optic deployment (trenching, splicing), wireless point-to-point links, and data centre hosting.

5. Contract Administration: Experience with FIDIC or standard government procurement contracts, SLA drafting, and change-order management.

6. Risk & Quality Assurance: Skilled in proactively identifying civil delays, IT hardware bottlenecks, and executing rigorous Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).

Educational Requirements:

Educational Requirements*

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Project Management from an accredited institution. However, Master’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration (MBA), or Information Technology will be preferred.

Professional Certifications:

· Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 Practitioner is mandatory.

· Certifications in Cisco CCNA or ITIL are is preferable.

Experience Baseline:

Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience, with at least 4 years specifically leading toll plaza setups, highway infrastructure, or large-scale city surveillance projects.

Pay: Rs160,000.00 - Rs190,000.00 per hour
