DME and Billing Coordinator: You will primarily be responsible for reviewing and submitting claims, checking and posting insurance payments, and following up on claim status or denials. We have one big client that sends us blood pressure orders that will be your main priority from start to finish: receiving and reviewing orders, entering transactions, submitting claims to insurance, monitoring claims for payments or issues, tracking this data via a formulated excel, communicating with the clients, and invoicing the client for Blood Pressure Monitor's (BPMs) not paid for by insurance.
You will work alongside a co-worker in our Supply store helping greet and assist patients that walk in to the store to buy products out of pocket (OOP). Patients may also walk in the store to initiate the request of their prescription(s) and required documentations to bill insurance and deliver Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
Primary Store Location for this job: 20 Medical Campus Dr. NW. Ste 102, Supply, NC 28462.
Secondary Store Location: 1635 N. Howe St. Ste H, Southport, NC 28461.
*Depending on employee availability or other situations, we may ask that you help out in out Southport Store when applicable.*
Store Duties may include but are not limited to:
· Greet Patients and answer or return all telephone calls
· Cleaning/repair of returned rental equipment
· Keep front showroom (the store) clean and organized
· Keep track of inventory, order products, and share information with all necessary parties as applicable
· Handle and receive cash or card payments
· Document all necessary information as applicable (our software for billing is Cortex)
Completing DME Orders:
· Keep accurate and up to date notes in Cortex (our EMR) so all CHP parties can help any patient with ease
· Check insurance DME eligibility/benefits for patients
· Inform patients of possible OOP or COINS %
· Obtain all proper documentation for medical necessity when fulfilling orders to be billed to insurance
· Correspond with doctor's offices when necessary to obtain medical records or other information
· File claims and follow up on insurance payments

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
