DME Billing Specialist

Job Description:

RXO2 Oxygen & Medical Equipment Supply Company Inc., a premier DME company is seeking a dedicated, experienced medical biller who wants to be part of a company that makes a difference in patient's lives. In this role, you will be responsible for the submitting claims to insurance & private billing, working on aging A/R related to durable medical equipment and supplies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Submit DME claims in a timely manner
• Work on Aging and all other timely reports
• Gather and submit documentation to insurance & other payers
• Address patient and employee questions
• Complies with applicable policies and procedures to meet accrediting agency and company standards - meeting insurance and CMS standards.

Job Requirements

• Experience with durable medical equipment
• Experience with electronic billing software and billing submissions *Bright Tree Software experience a plus.

• Detail oriented personality
• Self-motivated attitude & performance

• Employment is contingent upon a drug screening test and background investigation

Competencies :

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment billing practices
• Knowledge of electronic billing reimbursement

• Knowledge of CMS & Insurance policies required for billing

• Knowledge of CMS oxygen billing standards a plus

• Previous recent DME billing experience

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
