Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, respectful, patient, caring and helpful Call representative to join our Resupply team. Responsible for adminstering patient re-supply orders and associated inventory and customer service needs.
Duties
· Support efforts related to patient CPAP re-supply and miscellaneous sales processes
· Administer processes associated with patient CPAP usage compliance and documentation
· Call patients regarding re-supply orders and compliance checks
· Obtain all documentation that is needed to properly process all orders
· Ship or deliver purchased items to patients
· Collect patient payments and co-payments as appropriate
· Address patient and provider customer service calls;
· Ensure proper patient information is maintained electronically and/or in paper customer files
· Work with the billing group to address pended claims or claims with missing information
· Determine charges and coverage for services requested
· Solicit sale of new or additional services
· Address complaints concerning services rendered
· Enter inventory information into billing system as appropriate
· Assist with inventory and warehouse management as needed
· Stay current on governmental and other rules and regulations related to supply orders
· Assure company compliance with changing governmental rules and regulations
· Act as liaison to internal staff on re-supply questions and customer service issues
· Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) activities.
· Participates in ongoing training programs.
Requirements

· Technical – Experience with medical billing and collections - preferably DME related
· – Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, ABN and related insurance requirements
· – Knowledge of Pacware or Brightree products preferred

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) – Bachelors degree preferred; or one to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE ABILITY:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
MATH ABILITY:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
