Dock Master / Leasing Agent

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, professional Dock Master to oversee daily marina operations in Marina Del Rey. The ideal candidate must have at least four (4) years of experience as a Dock Master or Apartment Manager and reside within close proximity to Marina Del Rey to ensure timely response to operational needs and emergencies.

Duties

• Oversee day-to-day dock and slip operations, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Manage slip rentals, lease agreements, renewals, and collections
• Assist both the Boatyard service department and back office
• Ensure compliance with marina regulations, local ordinances, and environmental guidelines
• Coordinate vessel arrivals, departures, and assignments
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including weather events, utility issues, or tenant concerns
• Maintain accurate records of tenants, boat registrations, insurance, and billing
• Perform routine dock inspections and coordinate necessary repairs
• Deliver exceptional customer service to boat owners and marina tenants

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Dock Master or Apartment Manager (required)
• Strong knowledge of marina operations, property management practices, and safety procedures
• Experience with leasing, collections, and tenant relations
• Ability to manage staff and outside contractors effectively
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in basic computer systems and property management software
• Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Marina Del Rey
• Availability for on-call responsibilities, including weekends and holidays

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
