Dock Worker / Forklift Operator

Full Time – Mon thru Fri – 3:00 AM to 11:00 AM

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Dock Worker / Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, and organizing shipments while operating heavy equipment safely and accurately. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth warehouse operations, timely order fulfillment, and a safe working environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving logistics operation with a focus on safety, precision, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight
  • Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack, forklift and by hand
  • Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies
  • Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies
  • Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods of time and may be slippery
  • Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 70 lbs. occasionally
  • Be able to do math with and without a calculator

Requirements

  • Strong work ethic, with the ability to work in a high paced team-oriented environment with great communication skills
  • Dock/warehouse experience in the transportation industry preferred
  • Forklift experience in a freight/less-than-truckload environment
  • Experience loading and unloading trailers
  • Desire to succeed with a strong attention to detail
  • To be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a successful completion of a county level background check during onboarding
  • Prior experience in construction or materials handling is a plus but not required
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety procedures for heavy equipment operation

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
