DOCSIS Testing Engineer

Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ

Salary: $34.00 USD Hourly - $36.00 USD Hourly

Description: Software Tester 5

Work Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ, USA

Work Schedule: Fully onsite

Assignment Length: 6 months+

Education and Years of Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field preferred
• Min 2+ years of experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments
• Prior experience with Android or iOS is plus
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
• Analysing the testing results and submitting the report to the development team
• Creating test designs, processes, cases and test-product documentation
• Conducting testing as per the set standards and procedures
• Ensure that the testing is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures
• Perform software testing in all phases of the design-develop-test-release-maintain software life cycle

• Experience testing mobile applications

• Proficient in using standard test systems and tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to multitask effectively
• Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
