Wockhardt Foundation is a national, not-for-profit organisation engaged in social service and human welfare activities. Its flagship programme, Mobile 1000, aims at operating 1000 Mobile Health Vans in rural India and administering free primary healthcare to 25 million Indians every year. The foundation has various other impactful programs in areas of healthcare, education, and sanitation.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Medical Doctor role located in Haliyal, Uttara Kannada. The Medical Doctor will be responsible for providing primary healthcare services to the underprivileged population in the area. Duties include conducting medical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medications, and promoting preventive healthcare practices.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor Degree
• Experience in providing primary healthcare services
• Excellent diagnostic and treatment skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Knowledge of local healthcare regulations and practices
• Experience working with underprivileged communities is a plus
• Valid medical license to practice in India

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: ₹68,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
