What are we looking for?
We are looking for a full time, Licensed Telemedicine Physician in NY. This role is in office at Brooklyn, NY (11219) with a flexible four day schedule (10 hours shifts), Monday – Friday (with a possibility to extend on weekends).
The pay range for the Doctor of Medicine (MD) position is $150,000.00 - $181,000.00 per year.
Summary: The Telemedicine Physician responsibilities include assessing the patients’ medical history and HPI, addressing patients' concerns regarding the use of telemedicine services and to provide personalized care to each patient.
The ideal telemedicine physician should be detail-oriented and able to communicate with patients effectively through various virtual communication channels.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Discussing and reviewing patients' medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications
Asking patients situation-specific questions to make sure they get the care they need
Formulating suitable treatment plans to address non-threatening conditions
Prescribing various diagnostic tests to aid in providing accurate diagnoses
Analyzing diagnostic test results and explaining them to patients
Maintaining accurate records of patient's contact details, medical history, prescribed medications, allergies, diagnoses, and progress
Advising patients on suitable diets and exercise regimens to improve their overall health.
Assisting patients in managing chronic health conditions
Recording accurate and timely notes in EMR
REQUIREMENTS
Active NY Medicaid # (Can start immediately)
EMR experience
Licensed MD in NY
6 months+ experience as a telemedicine physician preferred
A patient oriented / compassionate disposition
Strong attention to detail
The ability to consult with patients through virtual communication channels
Communication: Effectively communicate to clients, colleagues and team members in a professional manner.
