Core Responsibilities

  • Interpret Diagnostic Imaging: Accurately read and report all modalities (X-ray, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine).
  • Comprehensive Sonography: Interpret and report all types of Ultrasound (Sonography), including Abdominal, Pelvic, Small Parts, OB/GYN, and MSK.
  • Advanced Doppler Expertise: Perform and interpret all forms of Doppler studies (Color, Power, Spectral), especially for complex vascular assessments (Carotid, Renal, Peripheral).
  • Interventional Procedures: Perform and oversee image-guided procedures (biopsies, drain insertions, aspirations), utilizing US guidance.
  • Critical Communication: Promptly communicate critical or unexpected findings to referring clinicians.
  • Clinical Consultation: Provide expert advice on appropriate imaging choices and clinical implications.
  • Quality & Governance: Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and clinical governance programs.
  • Training & Mentorship: Supervise and educate junior medical staff and sonographers in advanced techniques.
  • MDT Participation: Active attendance and contribution to Multidisciplinary Team meetings.
  • On-Call Coverage: Participate in the departmental on-call or out-of-hours rota.

Essential Qualifications

  • MD/MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
  • Board Certification in Radiology (e.g., FRCR, ABR).
  • Current, unrestricted medical license.
  • Proven expertise in advanced Doppler and general sonography.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
