Location: Lusail Towers, Doha, Qatar

Job Summary:

Our client, a global engineering technology company in Qatar, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Controller to manage, maintain, and oversee document control systems across projects and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining project documentation, ensuring all records are filed and updated in a systematic manner. The role requires someone with strong organizational skills and experience working in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the document control system and processes.
  • Receive, review, and categorize incoming and outgoing documents.
  • Ensure that all documentation is accurate, up to date, and appropriately filed.
  • Track document versions and revisions, maintaining proper records of approvals and changes.
  • Support project teams with document preparation, formatting, and submission.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and legal regulations.
  • Distribute documents to relevant stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure integrity and accuracy of document control systems.
  • Train and support team members on document control procedures, where necessary.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a document control or administrative role.
  • Familiarity with document control software and tools (e.g., SharePoint, Aconex, EDMS).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Document Controller.
  • Strong knowledge of document management systems and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document control software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
