Position Title: Document Controller
Location: Gulberg 3, Lahore
Timings: 9:00 pm – 6:00 am (Night Shift), Mon-Fri
About Job:
A document controller is a controller responsible for the timely, accurate and efficient preparation and management of documents. They control the numbering, sorting, filing, storing and retrieval of both electronic and hard copy documents produced by technical teams, projects or departments.
Job Accountability:
- Principles and practices of records management and control systems
- Following and improving document control procedures
- Ensuring all documentation meets formal requirements and required standards
- Sorting, storing and retrieving electronic and hard copy documents on behalf of clients and industry professionals
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, power point, Access)
- Experience using database and inventory management software and tools, including pcMRP & ERP & SAGE, etc.
- Imputing all documents on Microsoft Excel
- Assist with reports and data extraction when needed
- Selected candidate must also have strong problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Basic Software Knowledge and data entry & typing Skills
- Great time management skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the concept of BOM (Bill of Materials) structures
- BOM formatting and verifications, BOM / Data Comparison (Excel to Excel).
- Write ECO (engineering change order) in word file.
- Knowledge and understanding of the concept of computer and electronics products or components
- You must know the following basic techniques and have good skills in Electrical and Electronics
- How to check and compare the specifications following electrical and electronic components, devices (“Capacitors, Resistors, Inductors, Diodes, LED, Transistors”)
- Be punctual and observe the leave and attendance policies of the Organization.
- Observe all code of conduct as devised by the Organization from time to time.

Qualification: Master or equivalent 16 year degree in computer science & Information technology or relevant field and also must have background in Electrical & Electronics field or Component Engineer.
Certificates: MS Office, Database and inventory management system, Diploma in Electronics.
Experience: 2-3 year experience in Document / Records management or relevant positions in electronics manufacturing firm.
