Hiring: Document Controller (DC) – Autodesk Construction Cloud Specialist

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Document Controller (DC) with strong experience in digital construction management platforms, particularly Autodesk Construction Cloud. The ideal candidate shall be capable of managing project documentation, workflows, approvals, and coordination across multiple departments using advanced ERP and cloud-based systems.

Key Role

The Document Controller will be responsible for establishing, managing, and maintaining the complete document control process for construction projects through digital platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Oracle Aconex, and Google Workspace.

The role requires strong knowledge in handling technical submissions, workflows, transmittals, RFIs, shop drawings, material submittals, correspondences, and project close-out documentation within a cloud-based collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all project documentation through Autodesk Construction Cloud including:

RFIs

Submittals

Shop Drawings

Technical Documents

Method Statements

Material Approvals

NCRs and QA/QC Documents

Transmittals and Correspondence

Maintain proper document numbering, revision control, workflows, and approval tracking.

Configure and manage folders, permissions, workflows, and distribution matrices within Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal departments for timely submissions and approvals.

Generate reports, dashboards, and document status tracking logs.

Ensure all project records are updated, archived, and maintained in accordance with company procedures and project requirements.

Support BIM, engineering, planning, QA/QC, commercial, and site teams with document management processes.

Monitor overdue submissions and pending approvals and provide regular follow-up reports.

Manage final handover documentation, as-built records, warranties, O&M manuals, and project close-out dossiers.

Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company document control procedures.

PDF editing and markup tools

Additional advantage:

Primavera document integration knowledge

Requirements

Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Engineering, IT, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 4–6 years experience as Document Controller in construction or MEP projects.

Strong experience in cloud-based construction management systems.

Excellent understanding of document workflows, approval cycles, and project coordination.

Ability to work independently and manage high-volume documentation.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Experience in large-scale EPC, infrastructure, high-rise, industrial, or hospitality projects is preferred.
