Document Controller & Project Support Officer

As part of the ABL Egypt team, you will provide administrative and business support, contributing to the efficient operation of the Cairo office, and helping to enable the successful delivery of services to our clients and stakeholders.

What will you be doing?

• Provide administrative and office management support to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the Egypt office.
• Coordinate project documentation, including document control, distribution, review processes, archiving, and maintenance of project records.
• Support the preparation, submission, and tracking of tenders, quotations, project deliverables, and related documentation.
• Arrange project logistics, including travel, accommodation, transportation, site access, and mobilisation requirements.
• Organise meetings, conferences, and client events, including scheduling, minute-taking, and follow-up actions where required.
• Assist with project invoicing, freelancer agreements, supplier administration, and other business support activities.
• Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including company mail, courier services, and document distribution.
• Maintain filing and record management systems, identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and efficiency.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, regional administrative teams, suppliers, and external service providers to support business operations.
• Support QHSE activities, audits, and compliance requirements, ensuring office environments are maintained to company standards.
• Provide ad hoc administrative and secretarial support to technical and project teams as required.
• Assist with the coordination and supervision of administrative activities and workloads where applicable.
• Undertake additional duties and project-related tasks as assigned.

What are we looking for?

• Relevant training or certification in Administration, Project Support, or Document Control is advantageous.
• 1–3 years' experience in an administrative, project support, document control, or office coordination role.
• Experience within a professional services, engineering, maritime, or technical environment is beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience using document management and records management systems.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
