Document Prep, Scan, and Indexer

This team-oriented role is in our Marlborough, MA office. In this role, you would be responsible for preparing, scanning, and entering documents into computer systems to support weekly customer tasks. It requires a mixture of lifting, standing, and sitting throughout the day.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Track received data and source documents.
  • Prepare documents (removing staples, paper clips, etc.) according to instructions.
  • Scan all prepared documents, verify image quality, and rescan as needed.
  • Enter alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into computer systems, following displayed formats and entering necessary codes.
  • Maintain records of completed work and fill out customer logs.
  • Review all documents to ensure complete data entry.
  • File or route source documents after scanning.
  • Weekly pick up records from a client in Woburn, MA, using your personal vehicle.
  • Monthly pickup of records from a client in Edison, NJ, using a rented U-Haul truck.
  • Must be able to lift/move boxes weighing on average 20 pounds and push/pull carts that may contain many 20-pound boxes.

This is a full-time temporary position that is expected to be full-time permanent in January 2026. When full time, this position has a full benefits package.

Paid training provided for this position if hired.

This position is eligible for optional overtime.

Job Type: Temp-to-hire

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
