Job Description

We are hiring a Legal Invoice Review Quality Assurance Analyst responsible for conducting high-level legal invoice audits and supporting appeals resolution processes. The ideal candidate will use their legal expertise to ensure compliance with client billing guidelines, accurately adjust invoice entries, and engage law firms in expert-level written communications.

Skill / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school (Mandatory).
• 2+ years of experience in legal services, litigation billing, or invoice auditing.
• Strong communication, discretion, and analytical skills.
• Preferred: Experience with insurance defense, civil litigation, and legal invoice appeals.
• Technically proficient in Microsoft Office and legal billing software.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct expert peer reviews of legal invoice audits performed by other analysts.
• Validate UTBMS codes, adjust invoice entries based on legal context, and document decisions.
• Engage in professional, expert-to-expert appeals resolution with law firms regarding invoice disputes.
• Extract legal concepts and summarize them in reports for client use and mediation.
• Support internal teams with process improvements and provide performance feedback.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
