Documentary Editing Internship – Boca Raton, FL (In-Person)

Job Summary
We are currently developing a 6-part documentary series with plans to pitch to major streaming platforms, including Netflix, and are looking for a highly talented, creatively driven editing intern to join our team in Boca Raton.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience inside a real creative process — working closely with the director and production team as the story takes shape.

To keep the creative process focused, we are not seeking directors, camera operators, or generalists for this role. We are building an editorial team centered around people who truly want to edit for a living.

Duties

• Support the editing team by assembling footage, selecting the best takes, and organizing media assets using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Avid.
• Assist with color correction, photo editing, photo manipulation, and motion graphics using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects, and Cinema 4D.
• Contribute to post-production processes including sound syncing, basic visual effects, and creating engaging graphics with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
• Help manage content workflows through content management systems and FTP platforms to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Participate in filming sessions by capturing footage with videography equipment and supporting on-set production activities.
• Collaborate with team members to develop creative content ideas, storyboards, and visual concepts that enhance storytelling quality.
• Maintain organized media libraries and backup files regularly to streamline post-production workflows.
