Responsibilities

• Greet pet owners warmly, schedule appointments, and manage reservations for boarding and daycare services
• Assist with pet intake and discharge, ensuring all animals are properly identified and documented
• Provide attentive animal handling, including feeding, walking, playing, and monitoring health status
• Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and common spaces to promote a safe and hygienic environment
• Perform basic pet grooming tasks such as brushing or bathing when needed
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ behavior, health updates, or special needs
• Handle heavy lifting when necessary to move supplies or assist with kennel setup

Experience
Candidates should have prior experience working with animals in a kennel, pet sitting, or veterinary setting. Familiarity with dog training techniques, animal restraint methods, and basic veterinary procedures is highly valued. Strong customer service skills are essential to create positive interactions with clients. Experience in pet grooming, veterinary assisting, or animal handling will set you apart. Applicants must be comfortable performing physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods. A genuine passion for animal care combined with excellent communication abilities will help you succeed in this lively role.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

• Are you able to work Morning shifts 645-1 and afternoon shifts 1-7? We will also have evening shifts 9-12?

• Domestic animal handling in a work environment: 1 year (Required)
