Dog Daycare Handler, Walker & Driver - Full Time

Job Overview
ACTIVE! Dog Daycare and Boarding located in Logan Square is seeking a full-time employee for dog handling, dog transportation, and dog walking. Position is IMMEDIATELY available. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for animals and enjoy spending alot time outdoors in all seasons and weather that Chicago throws at us.

Responsibilities include all of the below not just one area (your position will be rotating daily):

• Dog walking - Drive (your vehicle, which you must have daily) to clients home for a 30 min walk.
• Dog handling care - Watch over the pack making sure pups are in a fun, safe, and clean environment. This includes cleaning up messes, managing dogs, and cleaning up the facility at the end of the day plus overnight stays at the facility.
• Dog transportation - Drive company cargo vans to pick up and drop off dogs throughout the North side of Chicago.
• OTHER Janitorial DUTIES INCLUDE:
• Sweeping/mopping
• Garbage disposal
• Yard/lot disinfecting
• Kitchen cleaning
• Lifting heavy objects
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize duties

Qualifications

• Have a valid IL driver’s license, current insurance and personal vehicle for daily use to get to and from dog walks quickly (please do not apply if you do not have this).
• Great driving record
• Dog Owner Preferred, but not required
• Live in Chicago with knowledge of Northside of Chicago
• Open availability including weekends, overnights, and Holiday's is a must
• Our ideal applicant will be 21 years of age or older
• Compensation: $18.00/hr+
• Paid Time Off - Full time only
• For the right candidate, this position will likely advance, with more hours offered and increased responsibility.
