Dog Daycare Office/Kennel

Job Overview:

Open Shifts Include:

Mainly Weekday Shifts 12:30p-7:00p

Sporadic Day time shifts 9:00a-6:00p

Holidays & Weekends on a rotated schedule

Sporadic Deep Cleaning Shifts

Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns. Building relationships with clients through positive and upbeat interactions.

- Execute general office task in a thorough and professional manor including answering of emails, phone calls, and voicemails.

- Learning and utilizing in house software programs primarily paw partner to schedule appointments and document necessary information.

- Supervise and monitor dogs in the daycare facility to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Engage in playtime activities with the dogs, providing them with exercise and mental stimulation
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the daycare area, including cleaning up after dogs and sanitizing surfaces
- Assist with feeding and administering medications as needed
- Provide basic grooming services as needed such as brushing, bathing, and nail trimming
- Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent conflicts or ensure positive interactions
- Follow established protocols for handling emergencies or medical situations

Requirements:
- Previous experience in animal care, such as working in a kennel, pet grooming, dog training, veterinary assistant, or similar roles is a plus. However on the job training is always utilized
- Knowledge of animal behavior and ability to recognize signs of stress or aggression
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with confidence and care
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Flexibility in schedule as needed
