Dog Groomer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. This role involves not only grooming pets but also ensuring their overall well-being and comfort during the grooming process.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling for various breeds of dogs and other pets.
• Handle pets safely and effectively during grooming sessions, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including tools and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets’ needs and grooming options.
• Keep detailed records of each pet's grooming history and any special instructions from owners.
• Assist in managing appointments, scheduling, & marketing for grooming services as needed.

Skills

• Proficient in pet grooming techniques with experience in handling various breeds.
• Dog training experience is a plus, enhancing the ability to manage different temperaments effectively.
• Background in veterinary care, including veterinary technician or assistant experience, is highly valued.
• Strong animal handling skills with an understanding of animal behavior and restraint techniques.
• Experience in pet care, including pet sitting or kennel work, demonstrating a commitment to animal welfare.
• Excellent customer service skills to build relationships with pet owners and address their concerns effectively.
