Dog Nanny (Bernedoodle) – must have Flexible Schedule

Location: San Diego, CA

Compensation: $25/hour

We’re looking for a reliable, caring, and energetic Dog Nanny to support the daily care of a lovable, high-energy Bernedoodle. This is a great role for someone who truly adores dogs and enjoys an active, hands-on environment.

Schedule

• 3 days per week, primarily afternoons and evenings with possibility of increasing to 5 days per week
• Occasional weekends
• Overnight in home flexibility required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care to a high-energy Bernedoodle
• Daily walks, outdoor playtime, enrichment activities
• Drive to local parks, play areas, and dog daycare when needed
• Maintain feeding schedule, hydration, and basic grooming (brushing, wiping paws, etc.)
• Monitor behavior, energy levels, and wellbeing
• Provide timely updates via text/photos
• Support with occasional overnight stays

Requirements

• Genuine love for dogs—especially large, energetic breeds
• Trustworthy and dependable with excellent communication skills
• Comfortable driving with a dog in the car must have insurance
• Able to handle long walks and active outdoor time
• Must pass a background/drug check
• Must be a Non-smoker

• Experience with doodles, large breeds, or high-energy dogs a plus

Pay: $25.00 per hour
