Dog Sitter

Job Summary
Searching for a dog sitter who is comfortable with MULTIPLE dogs both large and small, willing to come several times a day and give meds while we are on vacation.

• Provide attentive pet sitting services, including feeding, walking, and administering medication if needed
• Monitor dogs’ behavior and ensure their safety through proper animal handling and restraint techniques
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by cleaning up after pets and managing kennel or play areas
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ well-being and any concerns that arise
• Follow established protocols for veterinary emergencies or health issues, including veterinary technician or assistant procedures when applicable

Qualifications

• Prior experience with dog handling, pet sitting, or animal care is highly preferred
• Strong animal handling skills with the ability to manage dogs of various sizes and temperaments
• Experience with veterinary procedures, animal restraint, or kennel management is advantageous
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with pet owners and team members
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary for pet care or kennel maintenance
• Passionate about animals with a genuine desire to provide compassionate care in a lively environment

Pay: $23.11 - $27.84 per hour
