Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dog Trainer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of dog behavior and training techniques, along with a passion for working with dogs and their owners to achieve remarkable behavioral improvements. This role involves conducting one-on-one training sessions, group classes, and creating personalized training programs that meet the specific needs of each dog.
Responsibilities:

Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions using positive reinforcement and other effective training methods.

Develop and implement customized training plans to address and correct behavior issues such as aggression, anxiety, and excessive barking.

Provide clear and concise training instructions and feedback to pet owners, ensuring they can effectively reinforce behaviors at home.

Keep detailed records of each dog’s progress and provide regular updates to pet owners.

Maintain a safe and clean training environment at all times.

Participate in ongoing education to stay updated on the latest training techniques and canine behavior research.

Collaborate with veterinary professionals and other pet care experts as needed to ensure the overall well-being of each dog.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Dog Trainer (minimum 2 years preferred).

Certification from a recognized dog training organization (e.g., CPDT-KA, IACP) is highly desirable.

In-depth understanding of dog behavior, training techniques, and problem-solving strategies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and their pets.
