Mobile Dog Gym Operator & Dog Walker

We are hiring a reliable, experienced dog handler to operate and drive our mobile dog gym (Sprinter van) and provide professional dog walking services throughout South Tampa. A mobile dog gym is a van, fitted with professional treadmills for dogs where they can run or walk at a pace of their choosing. We pull right up to the client's house and perform this service right in our mobile dog gym. This role we are hiring for includes both treadmill sessions inside our air-conditioned mobile gym and traditional neighborhood dog walks. Most shifts include a mix of both services.

Schedule

• 15-30 hours per week
• Must be available weekdays 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Weekend availability as needed
• Company vehicle pickup/drop-off is in South Tampa (33606)

Pay

• $15/hr during 30-day training (no tips)
• $16/hr + tips after training

Requirements

• Prior professional dog handling experience (required)
• Comfortable with all breeds and sizes
• Clean driving record (required)
• Comfortable driving a larger vehicle (Sprinter van experience a plus)
• Must have reliable personal vehicle for commuting
• Able to work independently
• Confident using GPS and smartphone apps

Physical Requirements

• Walk 5–8 miles per shift
• Work outdoors in Florida weather
• Lift/control dogs up to 70+ lbs
• Step in/out of a van throughout the day
