This position services: North Charleston, Hanahan, Goose Creek, Park Circle, Ladson, Downtown Charleston, and parts of Summerville.

About the Position

This is a part-time, as-needed role with no guaranteed hours. It is designed to provide supplemental income, not full-time employment.

Our busiest times include:

• Midday dog walks during the workweek
• Summer vacation season
• Major holidays

You must be available for at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas). Partial-day availability is okay.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing midday dog walks in clients’ neighborhoods
• Completing adventure walks, including safely transporting dogs to and from curated locations
• Caring for cats and other small animals while their families travel
• Following detailed care instructions for each pet
• Communicating with clients through our pet care app
• Writing detailed visit reports and capturing high-quality photos and videos
• Showing up on time and being dependable. Our clients count on consistency

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine love of animals and comfort working independently
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Availability between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Midday availability (10:00 AM to 2:00 PM) is essential
• Additional hours available for morning and late afternoon availability
• Ability to work at least two weekends per month (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM availability)
• Willingness to work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas, partial day is okay)
• A valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle
• Must reside in or near our service areas (North Charleston, Hanahan, Park Circle preferred)
• Ability to pass a background check

This position requires reliability, consistency, and attention to detail.

This is not a good fit if you:

• Need guaranteed or full-time hours
• Have very limited weekday or no weekend availability
• Prefer a desk job or indoor work
• Are not comfortable working independently
• Struggle with reliability or time management
