Doggy Dude is a professional, CPPS-certified professional pet care company serving the Raleigh community. We’re not a gig app. We’re a small, tight-knit W-2 team that takes pride in doing things the right way — for the dogs, the clients, and each other. Every visit we make allows a neighbor to focus on their career, their family, or just breathe easier knowing their dog is in good hands.

We’re growing and looking for someone who gets that.

What You'll Do:

• Dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting services in the Raleigh area
• Provide GPS-tracked visits with photo updates and professional client communication
• Represent Doggy Dude with the same care and professionalism you’d want for your own pet
• Be available for last-minute and flexible scheduling requests

You're the Right Fit If You:

• Have strong character — you do the right thing even when no one is watching
• Respond to messages quickly and communicate proactively (this one is non-negotiable)
• Have reliable personal transportation and are comfortable driving throughout Raleigh and surrounding area
• Have a flexible schedule including availability on short notice
• Genuinely love animals — not just “like dogs,” but the kind of love that shows up in how you handle them
• Strong animal handling abilities with experience in pet sitting, dog handling, and animal restraint techniques
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and address their concerns

Bonus Points For:

• Knowledge of veterinary procedures or veterinary technician experience to recognize health concerns
• Experience with dog training methods to support behavioral development
• Pet First Aid or CPCR training (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with high-energy dog breeds
