Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable and professional independent contractor to join our team. This role will start with one consistent weekday midday client with strong potential to grow into additional visits.

This is ideal for someone looking to build steady, predictable income with room to expand.

Responsibilities

• Provide dog walking and/or pet drop-in visits during weekday midday hours
• Follow detailed care instructions for each pet
• Communicate clearly with clients through our scheduling app
• Provide visit updates, photos, and notes after each service
• Ensure pets’ safety, comfort, and well-being at all times

Compensation

• 70/30 split (Contractor/Company)
• Example: A $27 visit = $18.90 to you
• Opportunity to increase earnings as additional clients are added

Requirements

• Must have weekday midday availability (M–F)
• Must live in or near Annapolis, MD (within a reasonable driving distance)
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Smartphone with data plan
• Strong communication skills and professionalism
• Comfortable working independently
• Experience with dogs and/or cats preferred
• Ability to walk dogs in various weather conditions
• Able to pass a background check

Important Notes

This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not a W-2 employee role. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and expenses.

Pay: $15.40 - $18.90 per hour
