Dog Walker / Pet Sitter / Animal Lover

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and energetic to help with our dogs on a regular weekly basis. We need someone who truly LOVES dogs, is honest, reliable and a self-starter with a strong work ethic.

Professional experience is not required, but a familiarity with dogs and their general basic needs would be helpful. There will be training to explain in detail what each of our dogs needs and how we would like things to be done.

Duties will include (though are not limited to): exercising the dogs, feeding them, keeping them and their areas clean, administering medications, supervising play time and outdoor time, etc. Understanding exactly how this would be done would all be a part of the training. Each day will be slightly different - which is part of the fun of working with dogs, they definitely keep things interesting!

Pay would start at $11 per hour and will go up from there over time based on performance and reliability. We do a raise within the first few weeks when someone has grasped the duties of the job, and then another shortly after that, when that person is able to work alone.

There are 3 daily shifts available, with breaks in the middle - so someone close by to where we are located would be ideal.

The regular shifts are: 7 - 10 or 11am, 12 or 1pm - 4 or 5pm and 5 or 6pm - 9 or 10pm

We do need help weekdays, weekends and holidays - though we do make sure there are 2 days off weekly unless there are extenuating circumstances (this doesn't happen often).

The days and times would change slightly each week, at least until we get into a regular rhythm and routine with the regular staff. However, we do need someone who is able / willing to be flexible when needed.
