You will:

  • Drive to and enter client’s homes that may or may not be there
  • Care for pets by doing things like providing them with food and water, playing, walking dogs, and scooping litter boxes
  • Use an app to check in and out at visits, access client and pet information, and complete & upload journal entries that include photos and a few sentences about how the visit went.
  • Follow all home and pet care instructions in detail as requested by the client.
  • Make safety a priority while in a client’s home and during walks – both your safety and the pets safety are top priority
  • Follow local ordinances, including leash laws and pet waste pick up and disposal.
  • Maintain client confidentiality when visiting homes.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with our administrators
  • Use problem solving skills in unusual or challenging circumstances.

We ask that you:

  • Are eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Have your own insured and reliable vehicle
  • Have a smartphone with internet and email access
  • Are trustworthy and experienced with animals
  • Are at least 21 years old
  • Pass a background check

Work Environment:

This position includes traveling to and working in our client's homes. You will also spend time outdoors walking dogs and be exposed to seasonal weather including heat, cold, and rain. This position may work outside of normal business hours to include evenings, holidays, and weekends as needed. These hours are subject to change at any time depending on business needs

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Physical Demands:

While providing care to a variety of animals, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk, hear, utilize taste or smell. The employee must lift and/or move, pull, or push a minimum of 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
