Job Summary
Barking with the Bradley’s, LLC is seeking a reliable, client-oriented Dog Care Specialist with at least two years of professional dog care experience and strong customer service skills to serve clients in Fall's Church. This role requires weekday mid-day availability, safe and attentive canine handling, and consistent communication through our booking platform. Ideal candidates are dependable, professional, and passionate about delivering personalized, high-quality pet care.

Qualifications – Dog Care Specialist
Required
- All application questions must be answered in order to be considered
- Minimum of 2 years of professional dog care experience (references required)
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience (references required)
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Availability between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM on weekdays
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Well-versed in canine safety and reading/responding to canine body language
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Preferred
- Pet CPR & First Aid Certification (must be obtained within 3 months of onboarding if not already certified)
- Availability for overnight or in-home dog boarding
- Interest in participating in marketing or community events
Responsibilities – Dog Care Specialist
- Arrive reliably and punctually to all scheduled visits
- Provide client-requested care, including walks, relief breaks, enrichment activities, training reinforcement, playtime, feeding, and basic cleanup within allotted visit times
- Maintain constant awareness of canine safety and well-being
- Complete detailed visit reports in the company’s scheduling app, including GPS verification, photos/videos, relief updates, and care summaries
- Communicate professionally and honestly with clients via the booking app
- Respect clients’ homes by following access instructions, securing entryways, and maintaining cleanliness
- Disinfect hands before and after visits to support health and safety standards
- Participate in required Pre-Visit Meet & Greets for onboarding new clients
- Respond to company service requests within 24 hours
- Escalate urgent matters to management, clients, and veterinarians when necessary
- Attend bi-monthly video or in-person check-ins with management
- Wear Barking with the Bradley’s apparel during visits and events, representing the company professionally
- Optionally participate in marketing events and community networking opportunities
