Dog Walker/Pet Sitter

Responsibilities

• Take dogs on engaging walks that promote physical activity and mental stimulation
• Provide pet sitting services in clients’ homes, including feeding, administering medication, and maintaining routines
• Handle animals with confidence using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and handlers
• Provide daily visit /walk reports on our app of pet care activities, behaviors, and any health concerns observed during visits
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ needs, behaviors, and any incidents

Requirements

• Prior experience in pet handling, pet sitting, or animal care roles such as veterinary technician or veterinary assistant is highly desirable
• Experience working with animals in kennel environments or similar settings is a plus
• Strong customer service skills to build trust with pet owners and address their concerns professionally
• Be comfortable handling various sizes and breeds of dogs as well as cats
• Reliable transportation to travel between client locations and a smart phone with texting and data capabilities a must
• Must be at least 18 years of age for insurance purposes. No exceptions.
