As a Dog Walker at Happy Tails Pet Sitting, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our furry clients receive the exercise and attention they need. This position is perfect for animal lovers who are dedicated to providing excellent care and service to pets and their owners in our community.

Responsibilities

• Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring their safety and well-being during outings.
• Provide basic training reinforcement during walks, such as commands and leash manners.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior and needs.
• Maintain accurate records of walks, including time spent, distance covered, and any notable observations.
• Ensure all dogs are properly secured before and after walks to prevent escapes or accidents.
• Handle any special requests from pet owners with professionalism and care.

Requirements

• Previous experience in dog handling or pet care is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments safely.
• Basic knowledge of animal behavior and care practices is a plus.
• Physical ability to walk multiple dogs at once and perform heavy lifting when necessary.
