Dog walker/Pet Sitter

Responsibilities

• Walk dogs of all sizes and temperaments, ensuring safe handling and adherence to individual care instructions
• Provide pet sitting services in clients’ homes or designated facilities, including feeding, administering medication, and cleaning up after pets
• Engage pets with positive reinforcement techniques such as dog training exercises to promote good behavior
• Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting any concerns or veterinary needs to clients promptly
• Maintain detailed logs of pet activities, feeding schedules, and any special instructions or observations

Qualifications

• Experience in dog handling, pet sitting, animal care or related fields is highly desirable
• Ability to walk quickly and maintain control over dogs that pull
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with pet owners and team members
• Familiarity with animal training methods and veterinary procedures is a plus
• Passion for animals with a proactive attitude towards pet safety and well-being
