Dog Walker/Pet Sitter

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Dog Walker/Pet Sitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for all animals, enjoy spending time outdoors, be able to stick to a schedule, and be comfortable with variable work hours.

Duties:
- Walk dogs on a regular schedule in various weather conditions
- Feed, refresh water, play with, and administer medication to animals.
- Monitor the behavior and health of animals while in your care
- Follow specific instructions provided by pets' owners
- Communicate promptly and professionally with staff and pet owners

Qualifications:
- Previous experience with animal handling or pet care is required
- Knowledge of basic veterinary care is a plus
- Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners
- Physical ability to walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Certification as a veterinary technician or related field is advantageous

More specifics: This is a part time job with most visits occurring in the mornings and evenings during the week and weekends. You must be willing to work evenings and weekends. Due to the nature of the business, some days will be busier than others. Most walks and pet visits are in the Sandy/Cottonwood Heights/Draper area, and you must have transportation and be willing to commute to each visit. You will be paid per walk/pet visit. You must be comfortable working with all animals.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
