Job Overview
Around the Block Dog Walking & Pet Care, LLC is "Building an Army of Pet Care Warriors in Cleveland, Ohio." We are based in Lyndhurst and currently serve the eastern suburbs from Cleveland Heights to Moreland Hills, Solon to Willoughby with planned growth throughout the eastside and beyond. We are currently hiring for two roles:

Dog Walkers & Drop-In Care Visit Provider

• Provide dog walking services in neighborhoods in the mid-eastern suburbs on evenings and weekends
• Engage with pets in a loving, compassionate and fun way
• Must have a reliable vehicle
• Must live close to the area as jobs can be at sporadic times
• Provide updates through pet report cards to the owner following each visit
• Pay is $15 per hour

Overnight Sitters

• Provide live-in companionship to pets in their homes when their owners travel
• Feed, water, walk dogs according to schedules provided by owners
• Maintain homes in an orderly fashion
• Must not leave the pets alone for durations longer than permitted by owners
• Provide daily updates through pet report cards to the owner
• Must have a reliable vehicle
• Pay is $60 per night

Experience/Requirements

• Genuine love for animals
• Prior experience with animal handling, pet sitting, dog walking, veterinary office, pet store or kennel work preferred
• Schedule availability to meet the requirements of each role
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to learn the software system and use it proficiently
