DOH EMT

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to emergency and non-emergency calls and provide efficient and effective care.
• Perform initial patient assessment and administer basic life support (BLS) techniques such as CPR, AED use, oxygen therapy, bleeding control, and patient stabilization.
• Transport patients safely to medical facilities while continuously monitoring their condition.
• Operate and maintain emergency vehicles and equipment in a state of readiness.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, medical personnel, and receiving hospitals.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic or written patient care reports (PCR).
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all DOH, facility, and company policies.
• Participate in training sessions, drills, and continuous professional development.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of DOH regulations and protocols.
• Assist paramedics and other healthcare providers when necessary.

Qualifications:

• DOH (HAAD) Licensed EMT – Active and valid license.
• Completion of an approved EMT-B or EMT-I course.
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
• ACLS or PHTLS certification (preferred ).
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred for ambulance operation)
